毕业于华中师范大学语言学及应用语言学专业，获博士学位，汉语言文字学、汉语国际教育专业硕士研究生导师。教学与课程：主要讲授《现代汉语》、《语言学概论》、《跨文化交际》等本科课程和《汉语语言学导论》、《高级英语口语》等研究生课程、《中国概况》等公共汉语课程。科研/研究与成果：主要研究方向/领域：社会语言学、汉语国际教育，先后承担《“一带一路”背景下云南省高校来华留学生管理现状及新型管理体系构建研究》项目等7项，在《中国教育学刊》等刊物发表论文10余篇，出版著作2部（含主编、参著）。指导学生：指导本科留学生20名，研究生20余名。

Wenying Zhao holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Central China Normal University and serves as a master’s supervisor in Chinese Language and Characterology and International Chinese Education. She has taught undergraduate courses such as Modern Chinese, Introduction to Linguistics, and Cross-cultural Communication, as well as graduate courses including Introduction to Chinese Linguistics and Advanced English Oral Communication, alongside public Chinese courses such as Overview of China. Her research focuses on sociolinguistics and international Chinese education; she has led seven research projects, including Research on the Management of International Students in Yunnan Universities under the Belt and Road Initiative, published more than ten papers in journals such as Chinese Journal of Education, and authored or co-authored two books. To date, she has supervised 20 international undergraduate students and over 20 graduate students.
